Dr. Sadia Almas PH.D.
Dr. Sadia Almas is a globally recognized leader in molecular diagnostics whose innovations have transformed the clinical application of qPCR and NGS technologies in infectious disease testing. As Chief Innovation Officer at OSPRI, she has led the development of advanced multiplex PCR panels and precision metagenomic workflows that set new standards in assay sensitivity, regulatory alignment, and clinical impact. Her pioneering contributions to hybrid qPCR-NGS diagnostics and extraction-free workflows have redefined the speed and scalability of molecular testing. Dr. Almas has directed multi-institutional collaborations with Illumina, Asuragen, and IDbyDNA to validate and commercialize laboratory-developed tests across a range of platforms.
